This policy explains how The Fittest Diabetic collects, uses, and protects your personal information. We handle your information in line with the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020. We keep this simple: we collect as little as we need, we don't sell it, and you can leave at any time.

What we collect
- Your email address and first name, when you sign up for the Playbook, newsletter, or app waitlist.
- Information you choose to give us in a signup form or by replying to an email — for example, your training goals or the challenges you're facing.
- Basic signup source information — e.g. which link or channel brought you to us (via standard "UTM" tags). This helps us understand which content is useful.
We do not knowingly collect any health data about you, and we ask that you don't send us sensitive medical details.
How we use it
- To send you the Playbook, newsletter, and updates you signed up for.
- To respond to you when you get in touch.
- To understand which content helps people, so we can make it better.
We only email you because you asked us to. You can unsubscribe from any email at any time.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers that help us operate:
- Kit (ConvertKit) — our email platform, which stores your subscription and sends our emails.
- Netlify — hosts this website.
These providers are based in the United States, so your information may be stored or processed overseas. We take reasonable steps to use reputable providers that protect your information.
Your rights
Under the Privacy Act 2020, you can:
- Unsubscribe — every email has an unsubscribe link.
- Access the personal information we hold about you.
- Correct it if it's wrong.
- Ask us to delete it entirely.

How long we keep it
We keep your information for as long as you're subscribed. If you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it, we remove it from our active list.
Cookies and analytics
This is a simple static website. We don't run invasive advertising trackers. The signup source ("UTM") tags described above are the main thing we record, and only at the point you choose to sign up.
Children
This service is intended for adults. If you are under 16, please use it only with the involvement of a parent or guardian.

We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top shows when it last changed.
